Microsoft has recently released a free anti-virus program for all Windows users called Microsoft Security Essentials.  I have been running it for about 1 month now, and I have to say it is great.  It doesn't bother you with annoying pop ups telling you that it is doing its job.  It just sits in the background until it is needed (hopefully never).

If your anti-virus is running out, or you are just sick of all the annoyances that it causes you, then maybe you should give Microsoft Security Essentials a try....Did I mention it is free?

Well, it is official.  Windows 7 is here.  I have been using it for about 8 months now and it is a great operating system  The reviews on the web have been stellar.  If you are using Windows Vista this is a definite upgrade.  More likely your newer Vista computer will have no problems running it.
